The mist of an autumn morning in Upstate New York inspired me to set out to photograph the Erie Canal and adjacent wetkabds. I pushed the envelope a bit, in camera, raising the Kelvin settings so that I could accentuate the warmth of the foliage and the scenes. I wanted them to be dark, reflecting the "dying" season or the time when the leaves reach their high point before they shed for the season.
